This pen cost $40 to make and took exactly 3 hours and 7 minutes to complete. The design can be altered to an octagon or to any size. Since it is a one piece non-assembly object, make sure it fits through your doorway. This project requires 10 (2x4) bards 8 feet long, 2 boxes of 2.5" wood screws, glue, cordless drill with a 3/16" or 1/8" drill bit - phillips bit, a table saw and a miter saw. Also protective eye wear for sawing.

  • My dad was a carpenter and one of my favourite things was when he would let me design something and help me build it. Sometimes it costs as much as buying it but you can make it better quality and have good fun doing it! Nice vid

  • We use washing up liquid tubs for wood glue they have a nice big nozzle :)

Thanks for the new channel Dan, subbed :)
