  • Awesome spud gun guys, but you do know that PVC cement is very poisenous right? You were so safe fireing the gun, but u used your bare hands to apply the glue, and old mate brown shirt even got some on his fingers.

    Ahh well, enjoy the spudz.

    a couple safety tips when gluing PVC:

    - Use PVC Primer on all the surfaces you are going to glue. It really does help.

    - When you press the PVC together to glue it, use a slight twist to spread the glue better.

    - Hold the PVC tightly together for about 30 seconds (no tapping) to let it "set".

    And, of course, use "Pressure Rated" PVC. It should have the PSI rating printed right on the pipe.
