Canon HF200 test

I just got this today and I took it for a spin.

Being cloudy outside, you can't see much in terms of colors..

Edited in iMovie '09. I didn't play with the sound or the colors (on 99% of the clips). At one point I used iMovie's software based stabilization.

I wish to thank everyone who uploaded videos taken with this device. It helped me made the decision to purchase it. So thank you!

This video is for anyone in my situation. For now, I'm pretty proud of my Canon HF200.

Can you put the raw footage of the camera which i believe is with the mts or m2ts extension directly on youtube or do you need to convert the file first? Mt hf200 is coming tomorrow :P can't wait !!!

I have a Canon HF200 and recording it at 24mbps and without converting the raw footage if uploaded to youtube the video gets sound or video artifacts. Youtube's avchd decoding process needs to be tweaked. I record my video at 17mbps which is still 1920 x 1080 resolution but without the sound and video artifacts or one other option is to convert the video file before uploading to youtube with sony vegas pro or some other program...

Amazing quality!! i just would like to know hows the edditing? does it run smooth? tell me your PC specs. Cause i heard in some other video that this camcorders generates files too big for regular computers to handle. Thanks for posting such a vidd :)
