Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland

directed by Masami Hata and William T. Hurtz
came out 1992... IN AMERICA!

A young boy, Nemo, and his flying squirrel, Icarus, are transported via dreams into a fantasy land named 'Slumberland' following an invitation to play with the princess Camille. After breaking a promise to the king, Nemo's curiosity evokes disastrous results that require him to search out his nightmares to save the day.

I'm too lazy to compress the avi to make it a more manageable file size and whatnot so most segments are only about 5 minutes long each. The whole movie is uploaded on here, however.

  • Funny...I watched this film to see if it was anything like the video game on NES I grew up with. What a contrast between Movie and NES game lol.

  • 0:38 little nemo must have woken up with some morning wood after that.

  • Beautiful end, I just remember this part of the film!

  • @kittylcatl91 same here

  • Ah, I'm a 17-year old girl from Finland and I have seen this movie in Finnish - obviously - and it was so good! And yeah, I pretty much have the same story like everyone else = "I finally found this movie after so many years!" Ah I think that they should definitely make more movies like this. Animations, goddamnit. And I mean, is there anything scarier than that nightmare king?! Seriously! Like one of the scariest things I've ever seen. And it's still scary! A great movie, I love it.

  • I hope One day Nemo can return to Slumberland!!!

  • wow, I had this movie recorded from Tv. I can't believe how much they cut out! all the parts that made me cry here were cut from the movie I watched. Must find on DVD!

  • A+

  • I watched this as a kid so long ago! The train scene was the part that scared me so bad. Now I live right next to a train. Funny how irony seeps into life. I wish they still animated cartoons like this! It's what got me into drawing.
