A yamaha DX7 MK2 will blow a prophet 5 out of the water anyday. Too much hype of these old analogue synths they are seriously limited and unreliable.

All analog, 5-voice with two oscillators per voice and a 24db/octave VCF with resonance. It has a 6502 processor, and all functions can be controlled by software- it was the first synthesizer to do this.

motherf'er I love 1:08. I wish I could find this somewhere but I bet it's far expensive. This was the synthesizer used in Paul McCartney's "Wonderful Christmas time" song.

@UnchainTheNight1 i can't decide if i like the jupiter, prophet, or polysix best.... im leaning towards the polysix cause oddly enough with enough effects i thought i heard my legacy polysix making phatter sounds than my friends prophet 5 xD

This and the Jupiter 8 are easily the best synthesizers ever.

i have a prophet 5 and id never ever sell it. id be a hobo and carry it around if i had to, its just too awesome.
