Why don't you position your thumb (left hand) in the middle of the neck? It seems like your fingers on your left hand are awkward.

so what. at my talent show,i did the bass on my guitar while my bassist did the guitar on his bass.its sounds like it shouda been a bass part anyways. keep on rockin.
