Chris and Lorin Rowan sing a mash up of Beatle songs. The Rowan Brothers are also performing as Rubber Soldiers with a unique interpretation and blend of Beatle's music. Rubber Soldiers was recently featured in the San Francisco Chronicle's Sunday Pink Section (2 pages w/photos). And, the Rowan Brothers just released a new album "Now and Then", and offer a new song from that album here. Chris and Lorin were very kind to do this for the www.TridentRestaurant.com web site. Back in the early 70s the Rowan Brothers had signed with Clive Davis and Colombia Records and had there first record release party at the Trident. The Trident is now Horizon's Restaurant in Sausalito. Check it out, it's still a pretty kewl scene!
Oh, BTW, reading the text up there--"Train Don't Come Here No More" is not from the somewhat-new album "Now and Then" (release 2004); it is BRAND new and is from their May 2009 album, which features Sue Cunningham, which I can't find anywhere on the 'net at the moment, dang (have to get it out of their own hot lil hands, hee :-)

Per Marty Balin (years ago): "You sound like angels."
And they do! I was soooo livid when the folks on the comment board for that article on Rubber Souldiers featured in the Chronicle in late May 09 had something/anything negative to say about two incredible singers and musicians. Well! You know, they're just flippin' jealous!
