This performance made me cry. I am a teacher in APS and feel the same way these kids do.

if ur right then i commend these kids even more for being willing to step out of their comfortable life styles and being the voice of those cannot be heard

I use this piece again and again in undergraduate teaching. Wonderful, in-your-face presentation. I will say, though, that these kids have created a masterpiece--and so they have each escaped the testing-torture system sufficiently to do so. That, too, should be contemplated.

i am hoping to work for APS in a few years and i have noticed these changes over the past few years. these kids have hit it right on the head and they are trying to bring in religious textbooks now. i'm hoping, as an art teacher i can give students a place to be them selves

I'm sorry but I love Albuquerque schools even though I don't live there anymore but when I did I was way more creative

quite the opposite actually. these kids are VERY bright but the public school system DIDN'T teach them this. they taught themselves this.

incredible!!! do your kids a favor and choose to homeschool. for their sake. they deserve better than a one size fits all education.

Creativity doesnt come from the school it comes from the student. therefore I strongly feel your comment is not valid but hey thats just one opinion :)
