@WearingaSmile Do you remember a Miss Wong who taught at Hamura in 1966-67? I was a student in her class, and remember quite a bit about attending Hamura--especially as it was a very wooded area and almost seemed like a summer camp atmosphere. Great teachers all around, too!

I dont know why u match the video with Sailor Moon song together but it has a funny and good feeling!!! Too funny, hardly forget!

I can't even think of how many times I drove this route. Lived at the BOQ at Johnson, taught at Hamura, and spent every evening at Yokota from 67-68. What wonderful memories. Thank you...domo arigato.

Route 16 has change so much over the 40 years.

I drove route 16 practically every day from Johnson Air Bast to Yokota in one of the ambulances at our dispensary. I recognize the graveyard on the right as a landmark and several other places look very familiar too. I also have a route 16 roadsign to this day that I got on the side of the road as a souvenier - someone must have hit the sign and you know how much Americans like weird souveniers!

I've been on this route before and my father had traveled on this route daily to commute to work from JAB to YAB.
なぜBGMがセーラームーンなのか?と少し違和感がありましたが、何度か見ていくと降り立つ飛行機・コラムシフトのチェンジ・流れる景色と、過去と現代が合わさって、へえ~って思えました。
