On November 7, 2009, Congressman Davis spoke on the House floor against H.R. 3962, Speaker Pelosi's health care legislation, calling it "another misguided effort by the Majority to make it more complicated and expensive to create jobs." Congressman Davis supports the Republican alternative legislation, the Common Sense Health Care Reform and Affordability Act (H.R. 4038), because it would reduce premium costs for all Americans to make health insurance more affordable and accessible - without raising taxes or cutting Medicare benefits for seniors.

Yes, they would stoop, but who says it will ensure them any future votes? They are foolish to assume so. But what they are stating is indeed true, that this bill is a governmental take-over of our freedom. So, We The People, must use them to prevent this from happening.

Do you think Republicans are fighting HC reform so hard because they care about you?
Or do you think maybe they know an Obama or HC bill success would be the death knell for Republican's chances of reelection?
If the latter, do you think they would actually stoop to lies & scare tactics? If not, you don't known politicians.
