  • I got here from the video where you told me not to buy an AR :p

  • @tommie314101 Which video was that? I do have some older vids I made when AR15s were way overpriced. The cost went down alot during the past year or so.

  • @millerusaf It was this one. /watch?v=GsOnXaONAUg

  • @tommie314101 I should do an update to that video since prices and options have changed greatly.

  • @FirepowerConcealed I timed things and I spent about 29 seconds out of 3 minutes and 2 seconds talking about where I got this from. Was that too much for you?

  • @millerusaf My colt hbar 1-7 twist with chrome lined barrel using a 9X Leopold scope would place 5 shots inside 1.2" at 100 yards. This was with testing with only one ammo type the Hornady 75gr Tap. All the non chrome lined Colt barrels I had were right at 1-1.1" for 10 shots at 100 yards using handloads with 18X scope.

  • @jetfuel545 I marked mine with pink paint, I wanted to make it more friendly to California residents.

  • Colt barrels are great quality, they are a true NATO chamber unlike some cheap barrel makers who claim to have a real nato chamber but only to be fooling you, this is why the chamber reamer tool was invented.

  • @jetfuel545 I'll be marking my sight the same way. I'll mark it all the way to 600. I'm still deciding what weight I'll use. I'll start with standard 55 grain and go from there.

I plan on using this rifle for service competition shoots. The barrel isn't as good as some match barrels out there, but that's ok.

  • @millerusaf I think you will be very happy with its accuracy. And I too like the balance of the Hbar for shooting offhand. Feels very steady compared to light M4 types. Those NM sights are great too. I marked my elevation wheel with paint via toothpick at 100, 200, 300 and 600. Used multi color. Red, white, blue, and gold paint once I found the cartridge I liked. Good luck.
