NOTE: During this process you may be signed out of PSN. Just press the PS button and sign back in, you can do this as many times as necessary

1) Download the files.

2) Copy onto Memory stick/Flash drive

3) Load MW2 with latest patch installed, then go to split screen and play for a few seconds on both the files saves you copied.

4) On your PS3 delete the latest patch - go to Game Data Utility and press triangle-delete on the MW2 file.

5) Go on your PC. Go on Patch Blocker which you downloaded earlier. It will show a number. Once you know it press the start button.

6) Go on your PS3, go to Settings -Network Settings - Internet Connection Settings - then click on Custom. Now hit right on your directional pad until you see Proxy Server, Use or don't use. Press Use. In the empty box at the top type the number in step 5 that was on patch blocker. Leave the bottom as 8080.

7) Now that you have set up the proxy settings, sign in and it should work fine.

8) Start Modern Warfare 2. It will not ask you to download the latest patch.

9) Go on Multiplayer - Play Online, then wait for it to load ranks and stuff then go back and go to Split Screen.

10) With Controller 1 load up the Error File. Here an error will appear so press OK, start split screen again then press X twice. Now you should be in the Split Screen Game Lobby. Go on barracksthen Prestige Mode - Prestige. When you Prestige it will come up with another error, press OK.

11) Go back to split screen with Controller 1 and load of Prestige File. There should be no errors when it loads up, press circle and go to play online. If you have been signed out of PSN it will ask you to sign back in so do that then Play Online.

12) Now in Game Lobby go to Barracks then Prestige. You are done now. Set your internet connection back to normal. To do this press "easy" instead of "custom" and exit PS3 patch blocker.
