@diggit03 I think most comatose are locked away, and unable to get back due to emotional or physical trauma.. The body undoubtedly live, but the continued existence of the soul inside is questionable- might wake up, might not- it's a case-by-case ordeal, there. Mental presence- let me apologize- the way I talk, I sometimes use words that seem unfitting- 'presence' is the mind, to me- is anybody home? Mental presence, bluntly. I am certain a soul is the mental presence- the 'self'.

Since they have no possession of these faculties, then according to what you just stated these persons have no soul. They are "empty shells" which ultimately means you believe they are "worthless".
Unless of course you disagree with this, in which case your entire premise- your definition of a soul- is flawed. Try again:)

-c teen. A living heart- the body.. it is WORHLESS. Completely, utterly, absolutely worthless on it's own w/o a soul behind it. To have a soul- the essentail self.. you need memories, opinions, a personality- and life experience to build those things from. A fetus is a 'blank disc'- an empty human body. I was, my son was, you were- it's basic scientific fact- brain biology. Potentiality.. is worthless compared to actuality. I'd save one real person over 100,000 fetuses any day- BC THEY ARE REAL.

-c Consen to sex is not consent to parenthood- humans are not mindless breeding animals who 'mate' or 'breed' or go into/out of heat, or 'reproduce' like insects. Sex is bigger, different for us. @diggit03 I self-induced my miscarriage(aborted) at 3 mos- it felt no pain. I also don't care if it was my first offspring- it wasn't a child yet- I should know, I am a mother. I've seen the butterfly effect- epic movie.. but pointless b/c we can't know, and it really doesn't matter. Sorry, but I'm going t have sex as much as I want- if I don't want more children, I'm not having any more.
