I live in this town.

1. Obama has not raised taxes higher than Bush

2. Don't you think that spending to get us out of a recession and creating jobs is better than spending for war like Bush did?

3. We have to spend, like FDR in the 30's, to get out of this recession.

4. Taxes provide better social services that our country needs to function.

5. When compared to many other countries, America has quite a low tax rate.

2. No... War creates jobs, pork creates what we have now.

3. FDRs new deal hurt this country. Without FDR clinton wouldnt have started handing out morgatges to all the poor people who couldnt afford them.

4. Very RARELY... mostly were paying things like Acorn and lawsuit damages... Since you live close by then you know our courthouses could solely pay for the police and emergency services... but its not set up that way.

5. You do not own property.... obviously

Dont want Socialism then throw away your medicare cards, stop collecting social security, cancel your mail, and send a letter to your local police and fire department and tell them your dont want their protection because its socialism. As for the protest just call it an anti-Obama rally because thats what it was. Where were theses people when W was running up the deficit. And despite what you communists think, Bush was a damn LIBERAL too... but far better than kerry Bush threw together a 400 billion dollar bail out that did nothing but dissapear and obama is following it up by spending trillions. Dont get me started on social security (Read SCAM). I have to work till im 73 to collect whats mine. My daughter will prolly have to work till she's 115... Truth is... this government sucks no matter whos in congress or the white house these days

This Country was finally founded on the tax of alchohol and tobacco in the late 1790's This country went wrong when we inadvertently gave congress the "right to induce taxes on any good" The Government taxed more to spend more for not the last 15 years, but the last 200. It started out as a good idea, because this act allowed the millitary to ultimately be born. Unfortunately, communists have weasled a loop hole in and made it bigger over the years. Now we pay. BUT NO MORE!

1. Obama claimed that he would not raise taxes on people making under $250,000 a year and now says "it isn't ruled out"

2. You said spending money like FDR is a good thing. Are you a middle-school graduate? Don't you realize FDR "got out" of the depression by spending money on World War 2?

3. FDR's programs didn't actually work- Social Security (Failed), Civilian Conservation Corp (Bankrupted) and the NRA (Bankrupt and ruled unconstitutional)
