She sings the role with restraint, considering the tradition at the time was to really use a lot of embellishments - and the ones she chooses are right out of the book. She only distorts the tempo noticeably once. What a wonderful voice and what womanly feeling she puts into her interpretation. That said, I'd like a bit more steel and some darker tones in the low notes - just my preference.
@rodrigououo Not really. Her voice was too bright for this role and she didn't have the low notes for it. This role belongs to Callas and to Callas alone.
