  • So what is the current status of "The Boys", in my country they only released the first 6 episodes and commented at the end that ennis was looking for another publisher.

  • You'll be able to get all your answers in part 5 of the interview next week. Thanks for watching!

  • So. This Multiverse theory. It means that out there(which is in here at the same time)exists a reality in which Mr Ennis never wrote a single story. Not even half a page. I feel horribly sorry for those poor cunts that exist in that universe.

  • Ennis is among the best there are.

  • on vol 4 right now, its ok but nothing on preacher..

  • With a shaved head, Garth looks like comedian Jim Norton.

  • More news on the upcoming The Boys film.

Over at Bleeding Cool there's a link to an MTV interview with Simon Pegg in which the subject of him playing the part of Wee Hughie in the film comes up, both Garth Ennis & Darick Robertson had Pegg in mind when they created Hughie and film director Adam McKay REALLY wants Pegg for the part and can't imagine anyone else playing Hughie :-)

The trouble is that although Pegg has read the screenplay and loves it, he feels he's too old to play Hughie. :-(

  • isn't it funny how garth ennis hates christianity so much that he can't stop writing stuff about it?

  • @cha5 Russell Crowe? Maaaybe he could do it. I find it hard to take him seriously though. He's kind of the same in everything.

Henry Rollins? He's about two and a half foot tall and he can't act.

I think Tom Hardy could be good as Butcher. He's a very versatile actor (compare him in Inception and Bronson), and he can do shit-your-pants intimidating (Bronson again).

  • @cha5 I think if Henry Rollins could pull off the accent, then hell yes, but Russell Crowe would be great too.

  • He's the kind of writer that makes you cry for the next comic fix. His stuff is pure art and will leave you in stitches of laughter.

  • This man is ridiculously tall in real life. He's great :D
