I love these Pakistanis who think Rushdie is a CIA agent or something. Haha! Don't they know that before "satanic verses" was published he was given an award by Iran because he was the biggest critic of US foreign policy in the world? That is why Pakistan sucks. Free thinking is thought of as worthless there.

@depp8444 I was referring to the two superpowers, Russia and now USA which were at our borders in the last 30 years. Throughout the history of the region Great powers have been coming through Khyber pass to conquer the terroritory. No doubt both USA and USSR had this long term thinking, and it appears both have failed, mostly due to the legendary bravery of the Afghans, and somewhat due to the awesomeness of Pakistani's armed forces and intelligence.

@depp8444 Look I am a proud Pakistani you should spend time loving your own country. Pakistani's love Pakistan we wanted it then and we want it more so now. Nehru boasted Pakistan won't last 5 years. Now 70 years and two superpowers later, Pakistan still stands strong. Peace and Love!
