It's derived from the Latin word 'niger' which translates as 'black'.
The word ignorant also comes from Latin word 'ignorant' or 'ignorare', meaning 'not knowing'.
I find your definitions a little bit ironic as; you seem to think that 'Nigger' means ignorant when it actually means black which makes you ignorant of both words definitions but under your definitions, you would still be referred to by the N-word... Does this not bother you?
