I'd definatly buy one of those 1190rs if I had 40k to pull out my ass...

This is exciting because it will allow the Buell brand to stay fresh in the minds of motorcycle enthusiasts and fans potentially allowing a re-launch of the Buell brand in the future.

Good for you Erik and the future of American motorcycles!!! It's unfortunate that HD didn't fully appreciate your vision, but perhaps it will turn out to be a great blessing not to have them hold you back any longer. Wide open throttle and smooth pavement!!!!

Erik: Good luck to you going forward. I am confident that we will meet one day. You have run the good race with your designs and have left enough evidence behind to have the world notice your commitment to excellence. My next motorcycle will be one of yours. If more people knew the Erik Buell story there would be a whole new wave of buyers who currently do not even ride. When you run into the one who can market as well as you design you will have a whole new chapter of success.

Funny thing is, at the start of the 09' season everyone laughed and didn't expect much. Everyone went along with the DMG, when Danny started winning the other palyers started making waves, and so more restrictions were placed on the 1125R. Also the "1125RR" was not raced in the "Daytona class" it made its debut in the Super Bike class where it was intended to be. I really wish people did more research.
