For the newbs- the Peninsula of Power is a small glitched area where you can fight creatures from the northern continent before you even leave the inner sea of the first continent. Start at Provoka (where you get the ship) and follow my path. These creatures are tough, and quite suicidal solo, so be sure to bring some tents an cabins (houses if you have a mage). Save often, you will die a lot (especially solo), but the EXP is definitely worth it. I don't know if they fixed it in later remakes.

I did cut out 1000 deaths by Astos and the Wizards at lower levels. Yes, I did the happy dance when I killed Astos.

The Dreadful Fight (Four Fiends) OST- Final Fantasy IV

I use savestates before the boss fights and the slain ones as backpacks for extra magic items. I use no cheats. I cut out all the journey to the bosses due to redundancy and time, so I only show me fighting the bosses themselves. I do, however, keep all my failed boss attempts.
