@rrdrums110 Thanks. I never thought of it that way. Rich Americans, like Bill Gates don't want to poor, so is he buying up tons of gold? I guess not. Are the super rich buying up all the gold? I don't know, but my guess is "no."

Fuck gold,
China has something better, how about the most industrialized industry in the world, ever!
What, you think the world is going to boycott china?!
And manpower is another thing that cannot be touched by ANY western powers because they have a VAST surplus of people wages are low and thus I do not see any country being as affordable to create products for export.
But they will not dump dollars because if they did who would buy all their shit when America goes broke?

Why buy gold? Can you eat/use gold?

Never before in the history of the modern world has a people been so thoroughly manipulated by the propaganda of our Oligarchs. Stupidity by design. We are a bankster's wet dream. The first five minutes of a video called They Want Your Soul describes this very well. How bias and propaganda has a lock on American's complete perception of (false) reality.

What the point of buying all the gold out of the market? you would just drive the price to the moon, make your own purchases (very) expensive and then the price drops again. It's a losing proposition to try to empty the market.
And I guess there are many answers possible to this question which makes it kinda interesting.

The IMF and the World Bank are part of the problem. Because there is no focus in these two diabolical entities, they continue to pull the strings behind the scenes.

America is going to burn the Dollar in short order. They can proudly announce how strong the dollar "feels" but that is all coming to an end. The dragon has been slain. It is now spewing fire and lashing out frantically in its final movements. Coupled by a severe political crisis in Washington, the coming challenges will overwhelm the system. We know Washington is controlled by the unnamed "elite". We also know who the main puppet is. The world is entrenched in greed and hipocrisy.

The IMF is also a criminal operation(like the Federal Reserve), creating money out of thin air and charging interest on money that doesn't exist. And when poor countries can't pay, they go in and steal their natural resources.
There IS an international currency, and that currency is gold.

As long as central banks exists there will never be freedom. China's people should demand that their currency be backed by precious metals. Max is right, unless China starts to buy more gold and other precious metals they will continue to be at the mercy of the bankers.
