I feel that zoos aren't always treated fairly. Sure there are some bad ones, but there are also many that are good.

I don't have to visit every zoo in the world to know that animals are locked up worldwide. Captivity is cruelty. I am not talking about animal sanctuaries or reserves. I am talking about zoos. The places where animals are kept for people to look at. How would you like to be taken away from your home, family, and life to live a new life of imprisonment and isolation? My guess is you wouldn't like it too much.

If you do end up going to a zoo, please don't taunt the animals. They already do not have very much privacy as it is. They need to be respected and appreciated.

Most animals released into the wild that were born in captivity don't survive.

Face it, zoos are ALL abusive. Prison and jail are forms of punishment in our society. The animals are innocent so their time spent in captivity is for what? Our entertainment.

Zoos disgust me. They deprive animals of their most basic spacial and social needs. They have no choice because people FORCE them to spend their entire lives in captivity. They exploit animals by breeding them to have cute offspring to attract people and make money. All of the money spent on exhibits, statues, and paintings in zoos could instead be used to help preserve their natural habitat. But people are selfish and as a result the animals pay the price. They are depressed and miserable.

I' say the bronx zoo in NY is the least abusive zoo in the world. If youve been there, you would probably agree.
PS Im not sure if it was fake or not but my sister once showed me a video, kind of like this one, exept with a gorilla, and at the end, it held its middle finger up at the people annoying it
