This hotel lies right by the wonderful white sandy beach of Altura, with the warm sea just a few steps away. Altura is the ideal destination since the climate is mild the whole year round. It is within easy reach of an abundance of shops and other entertainment venues in the centre of Altura. Cacela train station is around 2 km away, there is a casino around 3 km away and Faor airport is around 50 km away.

Facilities:
Featuring a view of the sea, this beach hotel was completely renovated in 2004 and includes a total of 135 rooms over 10 floors, of which 115 are doubles and 20 are suites. Guests are offered an idyllic pool and garden area, a substantial lobby containing lifts, a currency exchange desk and a 24-hour reception. In addition, it includes a games room, TV room, a café, a bar, conference facilities and an air-conditioned restaurant. Additional services include Internet access and a laundry service. Younger guests are offered a playground and a kids club to let off steam in. There are car parking facilities and a children's playground available for use.

Rooms:
The homely rooms are equipped with a tiled en suite bathroom, a telephone, satellite/ cable TV, Internet access (for an added fee), a minibar, air conditioning and a hire safe. All the rooms feature a view of the sea from the balcony or terrace.

Sports/Entertainment:
There is a pool in the garden with a children's pool, a snack bar, a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. Guests also have the option of using the hotel's own indoor swimming pool, the gym and other various leisure activities. In addition, there are various water sports, tennis, basketball and bocce as well as tennis, billiards, pedalos and golf for an additional fee. For guests' amusement the hotel organises an entertainment programme in the peak season. There are 4 golf courses located about 3 km from the hotel.

@samiampendulum The best restaurant in the area is A Chaminé, ask for the Soup and for the Bife com molho de Queijo Roquefort (Steak with Roquefort Cheese sauce). You can find the restaurant by leaving the hotel by the main entrance and walking to your left.
