Opening scene that plays if you don't do anything at the title screen.

  • Awesome, gonna do a playthrough of this as well?

  • Nah. I suck at this game, I've only played it a couple of times.

  • I think Dracula X was great as a SNES game. But the Rondo of Blood game is WAY better

  • maybe they could had port the complete pce version in all it,s glory to the snes ,by using more space & a sa1 decompression chip allowing to fit more data on it,and to push the snes to it,s limmitd.

but the problem was konami got issued with nec for a complete port, another point was that extra space & a decompression chip would be way too expansive.

  • rondo was great

it was between today's castlevania and the oldskool castlevania's

    it was just fantastic :D

  • spoken about the gameplay, this is a pretty decent oldschool castlevania-game - i like it the most from all oldschool castlevanias i have played so far(except rondo of blood)

  • The PC Engine was superiour becuase it was MUCH stronger than the SNES could handle, so the game is good for waht it is, they simple cannot compare. That's like comparing world of warcraft to Ultima.

  • You're not the only one; this is one of the hardest Castlevania games I've played. I had to use so many save states to get through the game (yes, I'm a Castlevania n00b)

  • The PC Engine game is leagues better in every aspect than this game, honestly. This is just.. lame.

  • The opening video is laughably bad compared to the original Dracula X intro for the PC Engine. The game itself is a huge disappointment after SCV4, too.

  • Aww, too bad. Great video though. I've been wondering, what emulator do you use to record these videos?
