DC Sniper Muhammad Dies TONIGHT!

John Allen Muhammad (A.K.A. 'The D.C.Sniper'), who was the mastermind of the 2002 sniper attacks in the Washington, D.C., will be executed TONIGHT (9:00 P.M. EST) in Virginia by lethal injection. The infamous 2002 random shooting spree by Muhammad (and his 'then' teenage accomplice Lee Boyd Malvo) left 10 innocent people dead, and others injured.

John Muhammad was pronounced dead at 9:11 P.M. (EST). He was basically, put to sleep, and as these lethal inections go, experienced NO PAIN what so ever. Is that fair punishment ? You probably know how I feel. At any rate, I'm done with talking about the late John Muhammad, and look forward to reading your views on Capital Punishment in the USA.

@hawver1013 You follow the Bible do you? Think personally that it is a bit rich quoting - usually out of context - just the bits of the Bible that (you think) support your case. Strange, but looking at society today, it's seems strange it would want to use the *Bible* in order to justify what is does. I have read the Bible thrice, and the eye for an eye quotation fails to acknowledge to whom this is said... which to explain would require more than the characters allowed in the comments field!

Yes it does, but not everyone believes that book to be true. This is about the US Law, which should be based on universal ethics. There are a lot of ethical rules which are found all over the world, those should be followed, because whole humankind agrees on them, not just Christians.

The question of whether the death penalty is good or bad is not as simple as it seems.

Since when is the Bible needed to This is more about freedom and the right of wellbeing etc.

if you were standing at a gas station and you got sniped, you wouldnt need to think its just lights out. I think this story is sad, human ife isnt so precious in my eyes.. yet, to all these people its the most important thing in the world.  if a deer is grazing by a lake and someone snipes it.. isnt that the same thing? NOPE, HUMANS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THEN ANIMALS. you can shoot all the animals you want but the second you hoot precious human you're done, buddy. fuck this world is loopy.
