  • this isnt praying...... just singing.

  • i am singing.... a prayer. and some of the more moving expressions of worship and prayer is through the arts. music especially overwhelms the senses, as singing conjures hormones and nuerotransmitters within us that make us happier. the sounds of music stir up our insides. there are few so powerful forms of prayer as music.

  • such a lovely singind with emotions.

  • its a beautiful prayer but you are overdoing the singing part.

  • it sounds like you're changing the tune of the song.. if you sing and the song isn't your own and original song you should sing it with the correct tune..

  • @vkja001 Augustine said that "Singing once is praying twice."

When Baha'is pray, we are supposed to intone the verses, to chant them. One can read them too, but Baha'u'llah wanted us to sing the prayers.

  • great

  • i love it...

  • @vkja001 Hi, Dear One! Remember this for all time: All work done in the spirit of service is prayer. All art done in the spirit of service is prayer. One act of service is worth hours and hours of pious worship.. (not a direct quote from the B Writings, but the message is this: that when we use our time and energy in service to the well-being of mankind and the earth, we are honoring God! Therefore you also pray a lot more than you think you pray!!

    Love and Oneness

    Nuri

  • You probably would sound better without your glasses, I think they add a "nosey" sound. I'm also a Baha'i btw Alla u abha.=)

  • Congratulations! It is definitely to all of our benefit, and we will count ourselves blessed. :)

  • i wanted to let you know that a year later and i am mostly over this fear! i sing at feasts and our intercommunity gatherings every time! it took me 20 years to get over the fear, but i did it! and very much in part of your inspiring words. i also had a friend teach me self-hypnosis pretty much topped it off. i got this! thank you!! :D
