  • WOULD THIS COPE IN A PUB GIG ENVIRONMENT AND COULD IT FIGHT DRUMS???

  • @GuitarJames96 - From my written review:

"This little amp has all you need for rehearsal and small gig situations. For larger gigs the lineout facility allows you to beef up your sound through the PA system. The optional footswitch enables you to flick between channels dispensing with the need for an overdrive pedal to create your lead sound. So for less than £200 you can own an Orange Amp that will take you all the way on your journey from bedroom to pub gig."

  • Would I be able to use this with the pod hd 500? I only play in my house these days so I have no need for the power of a 4x12

  • @mrgrimm66sick - It seems to me the output from the HD500 can be run into any kind of power amp.

  • @lufc550 MG50 FX ? Dude that's like the worst combo amp available. Guys from Marshall should burn in hell for making the MG series.

  • @miszaszu - I don't think you'd be very comfortable sitting on this amp.

  • Or is it just for any effects pedal?

  • What kind of pedal do you use for the overdrive input?

  • u say it can plug in to a recorder right? just stight in to the interfase or what?

  • @TomHopkins24 As far as I know, the 35 and 20 are the same amp, but with the 20 obviously having less output power. So in short, the 20 sounds the same, but not as loud (plenty loud for practicing at home, I bet).

  • I own this amp.. It's fantastic. It's PLENTY loud enough. In fact I use it on stage and it works great! I only have to turn the volume almost halfway that's it. And as far as metal and stuff goes I do know slipknot uses orange. If that answers any questions.

  • @WindWarp What amp would you recomend ?? i need a good loud , cheap amp that can handle a gig , for effects , i only care about a good old style overdrive.

  • but the question is can it do metal?

  • I have an mg 50 dfx and has pretty decent sound.

  • that a RIC hanging on the wall? nice.

  • @zzzxtreme a distortion pedal will work with any amp :)
