On the first of two days of hitting camp there were 9 stations to rotate through, including hitting off the tee, soft toss, wiffle ball, running drills for speed/footwork, medicine ball for core strength, and hitting in the cage. On the first day the head coach said Andrew had a great natural swing, but noticed his lead foot was bit forward. when I mentioned that he struggled last season with the low/inside pitch, he said that foot correction would help. By the end of the hitting in the cages they were intentionally throwing them low/inside and Andrew was crushing them.
