A little word of advice. TAKE YOUR PIECE OF SHIT MACBOOK AND THROW IT IN THE GARBAGE AND TELL APPLE TO SUCK A FAT COCK LIKE THE COCKSUCKERS THEY ARE!!!

I'm going through the exact same thing I bought my MacBook pro 30 days ago and went to install lion on it tonight and boom dead.

You should boot to the original DVD install disk (Snow Leopard) and do a disk repair.

Apple has dropped the ball a lot lately, with Final cut "turds in a box" and now with this I mean someone needs to whack steve jobs upside the head with a rubber chicken

You said to run disk Utility and then verify. will disk utility say "disk is corrupted" or something? how do i know if it's good or bad disk? thanks!

@InvaderAlex08 You need to go into Disk Utility and click "Verify Disk." If it says it needs to be repaired, click repair disk.

I don't want to run into the same problem, so should I do a fresh install by erasing by disk?

@InvaderAlex08 My advice right now, schedule an appointment at the Genius Bar at a Apple Store and install Lion there. They will help you.
