Well......actually, as pissed as I am about seeing these great vids stripped of their audeos and such, YouTube is only doing what they're required by law. The real COPYRIGHT NAZIS are the major music groups who are pushing this in court.

They're idiots, if you ask me. They're shooting themselves in the foot. They're pissing off the fan-base of these artists to the point there could eventually be a BOYCOTT on buying these record labels.

EXACTLY.. everyone hating on YouTube needs to layoff a bit and realize that WE are the ones breaking THEIR RULES, even tho we do it cuz we believe we *should* be allowed to, it doesn't make it any less against the rules, lol, and they have the rules for a reason, so that *they* don't get sued for *us*. And with greedy companies like WMG demanding more money out of their deals, no wonder! It is not our right to break YT's rules, and we are lucky this site is free for us in the first place ;D lol

Exactly, I couldn't have said it better myself. Besides that, it's free PR for them, and word-of-mouth PR at that! (Which is some of the most effective kind) Fandom has gotten me hooked on more music, artists, movies, tv shows, and actors then all of the traditional ads combined. That's nothing to sneeze at. They should really learn to embrace fandom, (unless it's wholesale pirating full copies of things), it really only does them favors.

aw, that sucks, same things happening to me, but the other website i gave out is being a bitch and giving people difficulties on getting my vids, I didn't put them on a site where people can watch them, but download them, and obviously that's not working, but whatever. Youtube sucks, and i hate them!
