Quantity of Sadness by Catamenia - (c) Respective Owners.
External Drums by refaey.

I now have a beautiful Roland TD-10 kit with an Iron Cobra double-bass pedal so I thought I'd cover my favourite song from Catamenia's latest album, Cavalcade, as a start.

Apologies for any mistakes

This is my first experience with blasting so please be kind if you leave a comment. I hope you like the one-foot blasting.

I hope you like it - rating/comment will be much appreciated.

Lyrics:
To hear the waves of hate
It seems that only way out is through inhumanity's gate
I see my whole world burning, I'm near the point of breaking
Where life has lost it's meaning and everything for me has died

Doesn't matter how you define your destiny
In the end we all are lying six feet under

Velocity of madness is gaining fast
I'm travelling through the flames of my mental hell
Painfully it burns my mind and soul
I taste the blood on the nails from my prison wall

How many times can my soul be torn apart?
How many lies before I turn numb to this all?
How many nights until I'm sleeping the endless one?
How many cries for freedom that releases pain away?

Dreaming of things I can't ever reach
Feeling the emptiness so deep it makes my heart bleed

Destiny of soulless! Looking back dark path
Trying to see ahead, but there's only pitch black void
Finally I succeeded to wade myself out
And saw how the sky had turned into crimson red

  • Why are the toms like big small, big smaller XD

  • @Dimdez they're not - I think they look like that because of the recording angle. They're two 10" toms and two 12" toms - the standard TD-10 setup.

  • nice cover. what is your double pedal???

  • @billdim1 Tama Iron Cobra. It's not used much in this video as I was practising one-foot blasting but the next video will have some nice double-bass so stay tuned and don't forget to subscribe ;-)

  • @refaey what do you think of mapex p-580 double pedal???

  • @billdim1 I haven't tried it, sorry!

  • @q34r34t thanks for the comment. I was practicing one-foot blasting in this song. Please have a look at "I wanna be somebody" for some double-bass action ;-)

  • /no offense, but have you ever thought about using tht left for double bass?

  • @Magicquel567 Thanks for the comment. Yes the Iron Cobra is very nice, a bit heavy but you get used to it and it makes your kicks more solid.
