The lower outer grilles of the CC have a sharp offset curve which points the bumper out at nearly 45 degrees so effectively DRLs should not be fitted here because the bright LED output will be pointing out at 45 degrees. This is not advisable.

Does the same thing happen on your demo passat cc and is the only option on the cc having them next to the headlights ?

Yes the Passat CC works in the same manner and because of the CC Styling and curves you can't really fit them any where else. We are limited to areas on the front of the CC because of the pointed front bumper.

I am getting a cc feb/march but was looking for something in lower grille as per one of your other pics on your website, out of interest how much does it cost for the drls ? Am in Wigan so local for me
