Emily's phone rings
Emily: hello?
Selena: hey its me. what happened
Emily: well i was at dinner with nick and we were having a blast. Then he excused himself to go to the bathroom and Demi walked up to me. She said hi and we talked for a while and then she said she had been flirting in class with nick and she thought he was going to ask her out and stuff.
Selena: wait...dont you think its suspicious that she happened to walk up right when he left?
Emily: i guess but i was so mad that i just left a note for nick telling him to stay away from me. i feel horrible and i dont know what to do
Selena: well maybe you should talk to him...he has known you longer and you do love him. love doesnt just dissapear like that you know. *noise in the background* i have to go so just call him or something
Emily: where are you always going these days?
Selena: no where
Emily: you have to tell me eventually
Selena: i will now goodbye
Emily: thanks for everything
*they hang up*
Emilys thoughts *maybe she was right. i should just explain what happened that night to nick. he wouldnt cheat on me...then again she is so pretty and he deserves more than me. maybe he thinks so too...*
Phone rings again
Emily: hello?
?: if you try to get back together with nick, you will regret it and someone you know will get hurt
line goes dead
Emily gets freaked out and her phone rings again
Emily: i wont...i wont try just leave me alone
Nick: what? what are you talking about?
Emily: nick? nick im sorry but i cant talk to you anymore. i really do have to leave now
Nick: wait. i love you and you have no where to go
Emily: i have plenty of places and please dont say that again
Nick: what? i love you?
Emily: yes. its hard enough as it is to say goodbye without that
Nick: then dont say goodbye. stay here
Emily: i cant nick
Nick: emily i love you and that will never change. i dont know what happened at the resaurant the other night but i know i would never hurt you
Emily: i love you too but we cant get together again
Nick: please emily. your my whole life and i cant live it without you
Emily: nick...
Nick: please *starting to cry*
Emily: fine...but we cant go public with it
Nick: fine with me...thank you and i love you
Emily: i love you too bye
*they hang up*
*ring ring ring*
Emily: hello?
?: i told you not to do it...you better watch your back now
