Throughout the 1970s, musical stars such as Paul Simon, Rod Stewart and the Staples Singers came to Muscle Shoals, Alabama, to record their hits.
Their destination was the Muscle Shoals Sound Studio, where the owner-musicians had to adjust quickly to each new performer they were playing with.
