@LordReserei01 I got my situated on the first shelf of my desk... basically it's right below and to the right of me... it still vibrates the floor though, haha.
It depends on personal preference and setup. I usually have mine level with me but that's more or less for convenience sake (I have a corner desk with raised platform). Some people have it below on the floor something...just have a play around.
@LordReserei01 On second examination, that doesn't appear to have been the problem, I changed it back to Windows default, and my speakers still work correctly... I guess all I needed to do was unplug them, and plug them back in... that's the only thing I did was unplug them, put them on my sisters iPod, then put them back into my computer, I also unplugged the small speakers from the sub, then put them back in...
@LordReserei01 Yea, after I plugged them back into my computer... I then uplugged the small speakers from the sub, then plugged them back in, went into VLC and changed that from Windows Default to Stereo, now even youtube videos play correct, with vocals, etc.
@LordReserei01 Cuz, the small speakers go through the sub, and the sub has the audio jack that goes to the computer...

Acoustics of the room plays a part in it too.

It shouldn't affect things outside of VLC. That's got me scratching my head. lol

@LordReserei01 Also, where should the subwoofer be placed, above, below or on level with me...

@LordReserei01 It works now, I changed VLC's DirectX Audio out from Windows default, to stereo, and BAM! but how can that affect things outside VLC?
