Why are they in cages? They're dogs... I've heard them being *compared* to lions, but not being forced into cages, and being mistreated, like lions.

I let my TM eat only best meat that i eat as well. His coat will stand water very well, doesnt want to swim, however, only dips his stomach hairs in the lake. But even heavy rain is no big deal. The coat dries slowly cause it thick and the dog smells "wet"

TM is very adoptable to your conditions: if you sleep late in the mornings, so will he. If you eat only once /a day, so will he. And doesnt beg for food.

it's because people in the mainland China thought the TM was strong enough to live outside just with some food and water(TM wasn't pet at all,they were lived at Tibetan).and the TM had a cover place to hide when raining...

I love TM BUT they are NOT like other dogs. They are very very hard dog to have and you need toknow ALOT about dog behaivur before you start and forget all about it once you do start. They are not to be mess with and they need clear leadership with mutual respect otherwise it can get rellyugly. Therefore they also need ALOT of human(!) comanpinship - not only other dogs. Be sure that you live in a dry climate because the are picking up water from the skin and can get very sick in wet climate.
