I received my Walkera CB-100 a few days ago.
(Note: Updated video, fixed quality, sound and length)
This is just a quick video I made for our website-blog on Techn1k.de.
The camera guy volunteer tried to zoom&follow all the time, which results in few usable video bits.
I then tried to put the camera into the shelf, but trying to watch the small display if I am within the camera's angle AND flying at the same time resultet in loss of control at times.

The CB100 is fun to fly. Not as easy for beginners as stated on some forums, but it handles nice. The throttle is giving me a hard time. I guess I will have to look into installing some other receiver and use my own TX to at least adjust expo and such...

Baught it at ebay, €99 + €26 shipping €25 german Tax for CB100, Alu Case and aditional battery.

Any questions- do not hessistate to ask in the comments! For all people capable of reading german, check out our site Techn1k.de as I posted both a review and a link list on there.

  • Odd, I never had problems with ebay/paypal refunds... But it's a bit of a hassle sometimes :-) You could allways sell it as spare parts box on ebay, hehe...

  • THE CB100 IS JUNK, Mine never achieved a moments stable flight from day 1. although I can fly backwards figure 8's in my other Single Rotor tailrotor 4-channel choppers. After 2 months of replacing parts and going out of control after every takeoff I smashed it with a hammer and really enjoyed it. E-Flite products are much better than heavy, badly-designed walkera sewerage.

  • @Skymaxy I strongly disagree. This is not the only Walkera I have seen in action, and I never had problems. The advantages of the CB100 where cheap price, double brushless, strong enough to lift a small camera, and cheap spares... But even though it's a bit heavier then some smaller helicopters, I never managed to break anything (only my uncle, but spare fin cost $2 incl. shipping).

If you had so much problems with yours, you should have returned it instantly instead smashing it with a hammer.

  • @Skymaxy I had the same prob..but after a few adjustments and patience, i got it to fly. Its my favorite indoor heli. " I believe I can fly ".

  • I should have said, "MY" CB100 was junk. yes there was something defective with my model it would throw itself into a wall as soon as it left the ground no hope of any control at all, yes i would have sent it back but most things from china have a no-return policy. I once bought a camera from china that was damaged in shipping because the packing was inadequate, they refused to replace it.
