BA all the way!

I love these public announcements from Willie Walsh. He's a true professional and is very good at what he does.
He represents everything which makes BA the best airline in the world. Even during the strikes, I am proud to be a loyal BA customer.

@MaximusMingus that is really mean of you, to divert the issue to his own personal items ..

@ChristopherAdderley Granted it would, but then the notion of a "national carrier" and the "flag of the UK" should not be used to describe BA.
Above and beyond this point, with respect, Mr. Walsh should step up to the plate, and fire them. It is a private company, and he needs to toughen up. A successful, thriving, and efficient company can not be run in such a fashion where unions can inflict such damage to the firm. It is an embarrassment to the UK, and flagrantly disrespects its customers.

Please note that Walsh is making these comments while wearing a jumper that cost more than than an average weeks wage for a ground crew member. Be ashamed of yourself.

To be fair to Unite.. the argument is not apparently as simple as that.. they argue that the service you speak about being "much better than certain other airlnes" Jeremy is in their mind down to the nature of their employment.. number of staff on a specific flight etc.. They are concerned about the change, not only as individuals facing pay freezes but are concerned that the nature of the cost-cutting could damage their ability to do their job effectively. The airline could risk losing its USP

It would set a dangerous precedent for the Government to step in, on what is essentially a democratic/commercial dispute...!

Where should i turn for reliable information about the state of British Airways? Well a video made by the CEO of BA on the BA youtube channel seems legit!

Lucky the media are beginning to see through the spin.........

The end result of this is simple to predict, BA are going to need to reduce overheads, which will be staff members, this will also affect Unite, because if BA reduce heads, these people will be Unite members. Unite will lose out by a reduction of members.
Willie Walsh, keep up the good work, when you have cleared the dead wood, you are off to a flying start!
Well done to BA for totally unbiased approval of comments. Not.

Thank you for your comments. There are four videos posted about the cabin crew strike and you will find that we've allowed all those comments that do not insult groups, organisations or individuals.
