The first part, "Funeral for a Friend", is an instrumental created by John while thinking of what kind of music he would like at his funeral.[1] This first half segues into "Love Lies Bleeding."

Somehow the polishing of the album version into the live performance didn't do well with this amazing song.
The guitar sound like crap, the drums are missing things like the fantastic enterance of the bass drums that the album had around 5:10 (and other bits) and the bass guitar kind of disappears and takes away that 70's bass that makes you shake your ass.
It's not bad, but it's just not as good...
