The "Greenhouse by Joost" is an exhibition space/bar/cafe temporarily set up in Melbourne's Federation Square.

The design, based on florist/sculpture/designer Joost Bakker's own house, is made completely from recycled or recyclable materials.

It is designed to display the ease and efficiency of using sustainable building principles and includes furniture made from old street signs, hay bale insulation, a roof garden with a bee hive that provides ingredients for the kitchen... you even drink your coffee from recycled jam jars.

The 'Greenhouse' is open to the public until the end of January 2009.

This time lapse sequence was shot using a Nikon D70 at an exposure rate of 1 frame every 5 minutes over the two or so weeks of construction.
