hello again!
i'm sorry for the loooong absence- life has been fairly busy and hectic so i haven't really had a lot of time to do anything- AS or A levels or whatever they're called are killing me slightly already; how can we have so much work already?!

THE NEW ONE.
well guys, this is kimmi! she is a lot bigger than barney so height wise, it felt like quite a step up and for a while, i looked ridiculous on her. i'd like to think that we have improved a bit already. i haven't really been filmed a lot because i've been working on flatwork more than anything and in that time, i am genuinely concentrating on that. i also don't really have a camera at the moment. the footage/ photos of me in the reddy polo shirt and jumper are from yesterday and all the other stuff is from towards the end of the summer. so hopefully you can see an improvement?
i'm doing cross country schooling on her tomorrow (sunday) so that should be interesting... i'm quite scared that i won't be able to stop!
but things are going well. the yard she's on is lovely and her owner is lovely and really supportive of everything which is really nice! :D

please don't criticise in any way. i know what i'm doing wrong (probably quite a lot at this point!) but like i said, her owner is very encouraging and she knows her better than anyone and is always giving advice and help, so i don't need people telling me everything i'm doing wrong. sorry to sound so moany, but kim is the most challenging horse i've ever ridden!

RE LADDIE AND BARNEY.
yes, i know it has been months but i still miss them so, so much. i was watching some old videos of them the other day and it just made me realise how much they were keeping everything together. barney was the thing that i could put all my focus on; if he was bad, then i just concentrated more, if he was good then he was my get away. i still remember everything and it only feels like last week that we left them.
i did make a final goodbye video and i wasn't going to upload this one until i had finished the other one, but it won't save and i want you all to see what i'm doing now. :)

we're moving forward now.
let's keep it that way :)
