  • I don't know who the announcer are, but that guy has introduced OLP for a lot of their shows. Does he work for MTV?

  • @gdaem1 His name is Rick Campanelli, he used to be a host on MuchMusic, which is the Canadian version of MTV. He did a lot of interviews with OLP back in the 90s.

  • @Robiskool1234 Actually I read somewhere that touring after Clumsy and on through out Spiritual Machines did a hard number on Raine's ability to sing in falsetto (not so much nasal, you can wiki what singing in falsetto is). Its not that he can't hit high notes, but after his vocal chords were roughed up, it comes out less smooth, and everyone knows that Raine was always credited with his perfect ability to sing a smooth falsetto. They're about to tour too, you should get your tickets :-)

  • @Vivirtruvian I think I like the group effort actually. It helps mask how he can't/doesn't sing it like he used to 15 years

  • Who so much Simple Plan hate? They're both great bands. Yes I agree OLP should've headlined but damn, come on people. Stop hating on another great band.

  • I do like OLP's new stuff, but I LOVED their old stuff, so I am so stoked they're wanting to return to some of their old sound.

  • Now if they can just edit out the backing vocals so they don't distract me from how Goddamn great Raine sounds in this song... :D

    I'm lost for words.

  • I think he dropped the nasal voice because of the billy corgan comparisons. Either sounds great to me as long as he is on key, which he is here. Haven't seen a recent, promising video of OLP live until this new years eve show, gonna have to go see them now.

  • @spartyfan247 Wow! I know exactly what you mean, he's near perfect in this!

  • @kennygmang Some of their new stuff is good, its not nearly as consistently good as the older stuff. I never have to skip a song from Naveed to Spiritual Machines, I do afterwards.

    Heavyweight is good though.

  • @ballz905 their new stuff is good, get your head out of your ass
