First, being a registered independent, with a record of having voted for four different parties in the last five elections, I reserve the right to skewer all sides mercilessly.

I do not think that Sarah is a boogieman, nor do I think the Tea Party people are racist. However, it is fair game to use extremes in the pursuit of comedy.

If you have such thin skin, that this bothers you... I can't imagine how you make it through the day.

That said, I saw part of the Rep. Debate and if a person was going to vote for a far right woman, why would they ever choose Sarah "The Resigner" Palin over Michele Bachmann?

I thought MB was a complete laughing stock based on her State of the Union response... but I have to hand it to her, she really acquitted herself well the other night... her political views notwithstanding.

Rightly or wrongly, the Tea Party has been labeled/smeared as 'backwood knuckle draggers' - I didn't make that accusation up, I just used it for a video.
