  • People who are saying the this is not realistic: forms and drills aren't supposed to be completely realistic. The purpose is to train movement, muscle memory and reactions, and to learn principles, angles and lines of attack and defense. Work like this gets proper patterns and responses into your brain.

Grandmaster Abaya, thank you for putting examples of your art here for us to view.

  • You talk like a "Grandmaster" my friend. Thank you very much for the comment.

  • i dont think the guy with the knife just stands still after he did it.. so i dont believe it.. but still a good technique tough.. Taekwondo techniques are better especially ITF

  • Yes, I do practice Tae Kwon Do (ITF)and I am a a proud former member of the ITF Philippines-Jido Kwan Association, but I am sorry this is not Tae Kwon Do. This is Jendo Filipino Martial Arts.

  • Oh WOW you're cool

  • Thanks for your comment my friend

  • The guy in the blue belt did not even defend himself, he just attacked blindly.

  • yeah anyone who doubts that should work an ER and see the stab victims come in. Whew!

  • very good!!

  • Forms are never practical for real life situations.

  • Yeah, cause everyone sits still like that in a knife fight and they dont move their feet...well maybe the dumb ones. smart people cary a gun to a knife fight. sure it all looks cool and flashy but you're better off with a gun. no matter how good you are in a blade fight, you'll always get cut.

  • Sorry I was pissed off about something that day this actually is probably effective. ****
