@Optikwizard1 Oh yeah; that's his contribution to the music-video industry.....he was having a ball for sure, huh? Ronnie Scotts is the one I'd buy first if I could only get one at a time, and all my music had to be replaced, and for a 49 yr old guy that's been rockin' his entire life; That's strong support.

Haven't heard that one, but Live at Ronnie Scotts makes me feel that no other album is required! What do you think?

does the beginning remind anyone else of voodoo child?

Jeff Beck was the one who paved the way for guitarists like Joe Satriani and Steve Vai with completely instrumental albums like Blow by Blow and Wired.

@kidkongdw ....You've heard "Blow by Blow" and "Wired" recommended as albums to hear Jeff; and with no mental reservation whatever, I concur they are superb albums for getting as close to JB's talent as possible in a recording..... HOWEVER - I think there's one overlooked piece of his work that should be heard in conjunction with those: "Jeff Beck and the Jan Hammer Group LIVE" circa '76-'77 .... just to expose you to the "REACH" he is capable of .... They were never better than at this time.
