Thanks for doing these videos! The way that many websites described the "ll" sound wasn't very helpful because I couldn't find the audio. This is cool!

Thank you for the videos you've uploaded. I'm definitely using these to help myself learn Welsh. I have a question though: do you have videos on Welsh diphthongs? like "ae, ai, au, eu, ei, ew, i'w, y'w oe, ow, wy, ywy, and aw"? I've also heard that the letter "y" has four different sounds to it in the language. Is this true?

@elmo5242 Mkay, that'll make it easier. I won't have to try and remember two different sounds.

To Think I used To Know All This Fluently
what is the difference between dd and th?
maddyluvsjohnny17 3 months ago
@maddyluvsjohnny17 In Welsh, "DD" is like the "TH" sound in "THe" while "TH" is like the th in "THistle"

Great vid! I was wondering though, what's the difference between "ff" and "ph"? Is it just that they're used in different circumstances, or is there something about the pronunciation that changes?

@bridbug A Good question. There's no difference in the pronunciation at all, they're used in different places (ff is MUCH more common than ph though)
