I received a lot of encouragement for the Super Mario World "Athletic level" video, so I decided to make another piano-playable contribution from the SNES collection. This one took a lot less time to put together, thanks to the handy notes from the last project. And now YouTube has widescreen video support to take advantage of! Enjoy!
*update: Boooo! The 640x360 YouTube screen size is fake! The black margins wrap around a 538x360 video. All this effort to avoid automatic video resizing for nothing. Well, lesson learned. At least 640 pixels compressed into 538 pixels doesn't look too terrible.
Here are answers to some likely FAQs.

•Why this song?
- Well, it's the next song that came to mind that can be played by one person. Plus my buddy Carey loves FF4 as much as I do, and I told him I would. Grand staff video capture beats trying to think up a way to capture eight staves on one screen.
I am still confident that my work is more accurate note-for-note than the others I've seen and heard. I have a couple hundred other NES and SNES songs transcribed, but I'm running out of songs that fit neatly into a 640x360 screen legibly, let alone the old 480x360 YouTube size.
•Is your sheet music available?
- No. For a few reasons. One: It was enough to figure out how to make these videos. I'm not really interested in learning how to make PDFs or other readable/printable formats. If you really want the music, either send me a message and we can discuss it, or you can just pen and paper it right off this video. Two: Transcribing is fun and healthy. Sweat it out. If you want transcription tips or ear training ideas, talk to me.
If you want to know what other stuff I've transcribed, feel free to send a message.
Cheers!
Are you familiar with the FFIV Piano Collections CD? it's an import but if you can track it down it's spectacular. It as a great piano interpretation (not a straight transcription) of this on it, as well as most of the rest of the music. I found most of the tracks on youtube, in fact.

Man. That sounds ridiculously like Bach. Whoever wrote that must have studied him extensively.

@TheOtakuAmp He most definitely did study Bach. Uematsu has proven himself well versed in the gamut of famous ancestral composers.
