wtf is this?

Ah, the good old tradition of gluing foam rubber bits on lizards and crocodiles and trying to pass them off as dinosaurs. Who needs expensive and time-consuming animation when you can get the audience to accept some animal cruelty instead.
-
Fuck CGI! This is the real shit right here! And, the reason why orginizations like PETA and other hippie tree-huggers are alive today.

How this scene happened:
"Hey Jim, dinosaurs were just big lizards, right?"
"Yeah Dave, big lizards. But they had, like, frills and spikes and stuff."
"All of them? They just all had stuff like that?"
"Yeah, pretty much. And they were super big, like, 300 feet long. All of them."

2 animals were harmed in the making of this movie

@emsierocks1 Yes It was kind of an abuse but in the 60s and 70s it was a different time there weren't rules like today when it comes to animal cruelty in movies. Also they only used live lizard for a while and death lizards for death scenes so it was rarely that they actually killed them on screen.

Isnt that animal abuse?
