#33 - Acrylics (The Austin Sessions)

The 33rd session occurred during Austin's very own SXSW which, if any of you viewers aren't native Austinites, is a week in time where constant day-drunkness, a plethora of new and accomplished music, and overall debauchery can be experienced. We met up with this Brooklyn-based band at Town Lake and set them off on a swan boat while three of us cautiously loaded our equipment in a two-person rowboat and set off after them. Besides an overzealous homeless man requesting that they play some of his favorite blues tunes, the Acrylics' sweet, pleasant, and reminiscent of 1970's pop sound was a soothing gift for other paddle-boaters at Town Lake.
