Over June 14 & 15, the Raleigh area got dumped on--some places got over 7 inches of rain! We went for a walk along Crabtree Creek in Umstead State Park a few weeks after and the evidence of extensive flooding was stunning. There's a USGS weather station on Ebeneezer Church Road which was reading 200 gallons per second during our walk. During the flooding, it read 8000! Incredible.
